The private beach location you can’t beat! It’s a beautiful, close beach. The golf cart made driving to the beach that much more fun. I appreciated how responsive they are. We felt like the pictures of the pool didn’t quite match the actual pool. There are no lights in the pool or around the pool. There weren’t little water spouts shooting out of the pool like it shows in the pictures. The floors were filthy. Everyday after only an hour of being awake and walking around our feet were black. The house is a work in progress. It offers some beautiful new upgrades like the kitchen and a couple of the bathrooms. The pool didn’t heat for a couple of days which was the biggest reason we chose this home. However, they were great and refunded us the pool fee for the days the pool heater didn’t work. I feel like they’re more than willing to help and make things right. Overall we had fun together and enjoyed each other’s company and the home.
We had a great stay! The host was very responsive and quick to answer. The home and pool were such a vibe! It’s a quick 5 minute walk to a private beach, very convenient. Would recommend and stay here again!
The location & accommodations were superb for our family of 7 (ages ranging from 15 months to 61 yrs)! The Bid A Wee private beach access (with boardwalk & ADA accessible) is literally just a couple of blocks away. The availability , & responsiveness of Dowmtown Vacation Rentals was excellent. They promptly answered all questions before and during our stay as well as addressed all concerns we brought to their attention while there. I highly recommend this rental. Only suggestion (as with renting any Airbnb) - always ask in advance if there are things shown in rental listing pictures or on rental description that are no longer in service or have since been removed from the property (or won’t be in service during your stay).
